Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 25 years as on 30-06-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Selection Process: Candidates would be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion/ Group Task and /or Personal Interview based on their marks (Out of 100) in the EE paper of GATE – 2014.
Application Fee: Candidates required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs.235/- (Application fee of Rs.200/- and banking charges of Rs.35/-). Payment can be made through challan at State Bank of India (SBI) or can be made by online mode through debit/credit card. SC, ST & PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates should register themselves for GATE – 2014 through the website http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014 from 02-09-2013 to 03-10-2013 up to 23:59 hrs. After registration candidates will receive their GATE-2014 Registration number printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply to Hindustan Petroleum on-line. The candidates can apply online only on www.hpclcareers.com or through www.hindustanpetroleum.com from 1200 hrs. on 05-11-2013 to 2400 hrs. on 07-01-2014.
