Job Description:
Database Administrator
1. IT background (BE, MCM, BSC IT, MSC, MCA) Cleared your graduation in the first attempt.
2. Certification in either OCP, Red Hat, Solaris, any other operating system or RDBMS administration is a MUST.
3. Good spoken & written English skills
4. Willing to learn Progress/QAD products.
5. Preferably residing in the Western Suburbs, with a family in Mumbai and having a permanent residence in Mumbai.
6. Should be freshers or up to 2 years of work experience willing to join as Interns.
WILL WORK ON PROGRESS DBA
Candidate Profile :
1. Provide technical support to QAD products.
2. Provide 24*7 support to the customer (should be ready to work in shifts including the night shift)
3. Initial class room training & on job training will be provided on QAD processes and products.
4. Will work on both On Demand & On Premise product support.
5. Work on assigned technical support incidents related to core products except system down and critical issues for the first 6 months and later on assigned system down and critical issues too under the supervision of a senior resource.
6. Alert monitoring (Severity 2 &3), maintenance activity, documentation of Root Cause Analysis & procedures.
