Job Description :
The role of Assurance Staff is to carry out routine substantive and controls-based audit testing for the Assurance SSLs multinational clients.
Clients are primarily based in the UK and the US. Key challenges for the role are to provide high quality results to the onshore team, often to a tight deadline.
Be the point of contact for GTH to coordinate with onshore teams in France/Germany.
Translate financial information into English, and help the team in understanding the on shore requirements and raise issues if any.
Responsibilities :
Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial
statements and communicate them to the SSL Audit Senior/Audit Manager.
Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the
engagement objectives, onshore teams Work step allocation, and planned audit approach.
Challenge procedures used in the past by Onshore and SSL audit teams and attempt to enhance audit techniques.
Compare efficiency of audit procedures performed across different clients and suggest ideas for improvement.
