Job Description :
Help negotiate quality with the customer - the tester should talk to the Product Owner and discuss and clarify what the PO expects, or should expect in terms of quality.
Help clarify stories - the tester should be an expert at writing user stories, and should collaborate closely with the PO to write stories that are Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimateable, Sized correctly, and Testable (INVEST). This requires that the tester develop a deep understanding of the business goals of the project.
Help with estimates during planning - the tester should not only provide input as the the amount of testing required for a story, but also be on the lookout for the things the team is failing to take into account when estimating.
Advocate the customer's rights - the tester should always speak for the customer's best interests.
Guard the programmer's rights - the tester should also always work with the PO .
Desired Profile
Required Technical Competencies.:
Preferences
1 Strong grasp of common testing workflows . Should be able to create,review,execute end to end test plans/scripts
2 Experience in Manual Testing
3 Good working knowledge of SQL
Required Behavioral Competencies
Self-Initiated, Ready to make things happen
The ideal candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Skills Required (Mandatory): Manual Tester ,SQL & UNIX
Skills Required (Optional) : Telecom Tester
