We're looking for a Infrastructure Support Engineer - Cloud with minimum 3 years experience.Role Summary:
System administration skills across various Linux/Unix flavors including Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE.
Setting up and configuring new Linux/Unix machines.
Systems monitoring using Opsview and Nagios
Nagios/Opsview Agents and custom plug-ins installations and configuration.
Troubleshooting of Opsview alerts.
Installation and configuration of OSSEC HIDS
Perform daily backups, log analysis and log management.
Troubleshooting basic production issues including disk space, logs, application and Operating System.
Systems and applications log analysis.
Configuring of SFTP, NFS, Sendmail and Postfix services.
Scripting and automation of regular activities and performing root cause analysis for all production issues.
Utilize Awk, Sed and related command line tools for scripting.
Perform quarterly audits on customer’s infrastructure including security, backups, intrusion and performance monitoring reports.
Work with Rsync, Scp, Sftp services.
Work with basic SQL commands and perform SQL backups.
Configure AWS Cloud Services including EC2, EBS, S3, RDS and ELB.
Setting up CloudWatch monitoring for AWS Cloud resources.
Must Have:
Expertise in Unix/Linux System administration
Writing Shell scripts for backups, logs cleaning, services restart.
Strong Knowledge and experience on Network Protocols like: NFS, SSH, Telnet, FTP, DNS etc.
Experience in Performance monitoring tools like: top, vmstat, iostat, sar and free.
Managing and monitoring servers with Nagios and OpsView.
Expertise in SFTP, NFS, Sendmail, Postfix services.
Strong knowledge in networking, IP Addressing, Subnetting, Netmask etc.
Experience in Production support.
Good understanding of the Cloud Computing and Virtualization.
Experience in scp, rsync and sftp to copy the files between servers.
Good knowledge of Apache WebServer and Mysql Database.
Experience in ticketing systems like: Jira and Request Processing System etc.
Experience in Linux Firewall – IPtables.
Good knowledge in HTTP, SSL protocols.
Good knowledge on complete Web application workflow.
